The police were deployed on the night of Friday in connection with broken-into vehicles. In the area of Mengergasse, they noticed noisy youths. When the youths noticed the police, they fled. In the area of Schenkendorfgasse, the group split and fled in different directions. One of the youths threw an object into a meadow before being apprehended. Two other youths were apprehended after a chase and three warning shots into the ground. The previously discarded emergency hammer, cash, and a foreign ATM card were secured from the youths. The three teenagers - a 15-year-old Syrian, a 16-year-old with initially unclear nationality, and a 16-year-old Austrian - were arrested.
