Während der Fernsehsender ITV  am Mittwoch Bilder von US-Präsident Donald Trump über die Bildschirme flimmern ließ, brach im Sender ein Feueralarm aus. Tom Bradby, britischer Journalist, Buchautor und Moderator der Nachrichtensendung "News at Ten", musste blitzschnell reagieren. Das tat er auch.

In souveräner Manier erklärte er dem Publikum die Situation. Mit der schrillenden Sirene im Hintergrund sagte er: "Wir sind nicht ganz sicher, was wir jetzt tun sollen, aber wir werden wohl das Gebäude evakuieren müssen. Diese Dinge passieren leider und wir haben keine Wahl." Dann erschien eine Fehlermeldung auf den Bildschirmen.

Auf Twitter wird dem Moderator für seine spontane, solide Reaktion jedenfalls applaudiert:
